Terms of Service & Community Rules

By creating an account you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older to use Glimp. By signing up you confirm you are 18+.

2. The service

Glimp lets you post a Glimp about a missed moment, browse Glimps, respond, match, and chat. Matches and chats are between consenting adults.

3. Your account

Keep your login secure; you’re responsible for activity on your account. Provide accurate information. One account per person; no impersonation.

4. Community rules — zero tolerance

There is zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour.

You must not:

Violations lead to content removal and account termination. We may report illegal activity to the authorities.

5. Content about other people

A Glimp describes someone you saw. Do not include information that identifies a non-consenting person. If you are described in a Glimp and want it removed, contact support@glimp.online — we act promptly.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. You grant us a limited licence to host and display your content to operate the service. You are responsible for your content and confirm you have the rights to share it.

7. Reporting, blocking & moderation

You can report any user, Glimp, or message, and block any user in the app. We review reports and act — including removal and bans — normally within 24 hours. We may remove content or suspend accounts at our discretion to keep the community safe.

8. Safety

Meeting people from the internet carries risk. Meet in public, tell someone where you are, and trust your instincts. Glimp does not conduct background checks on users.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

10. Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for the conduct of other users. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, and disputes are subject to the competent court of Oost-Brabant (’s-Hertogenbosch), without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights.

12. Apple App Store

This app is made available via the Apple App Store. You also agree to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Where these Terms are the EULA: the licence is a non-transferable licence to use Glimp on Apple-branded devices you own; Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance; Apple is not responsible for the app or any claims relating to it (including product-liability, legal/regulatory, and IP claims); and Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms; we’ll notify you of material changes in the app.
